Digital Poetry:

Technology has advanced and the field of poetry has largely been affected by it. There are many poets who now compose their poetry using a more modern approach. One such modern approach of poetry  is Digital Poetry.

While researching for digital poetry I came across a very interesting site that contains works of different poets.

Click on the following link to enter into the world of digital poetry: Digital Poetry

Here is a video of a digital poem called "ClockWorks":

  1. I just explored the website you mentioned in your link and it was interesting. It contained a whole bunch of digital poems. This website also contains a poetry called "Strings" which is by Dan Weber, I came across that poet while researching for assignment-2. It was fascinating to see how Weber has used hand writings to convey digital poetry. Another great digital poet I came across was Jason Nelson his works are really amazing! You should check out his works, I have also included him in my assignment and you could find his information on my blog. Also, here is the link to his works: http://www.secrettechnology.com/

    1. Thanks for the feedback. It was fun to explore on Jason Nelson and I would say that his works are amazing and extraordinary. The way he uses technology to create digital poetry is amazing. Among his works, the one which I liked most is Sydney's Siberia. Truly he has created a new horizon in the poetry field and will influence other poets to be more innovative and creative. Even Robert Kendall is a digital poet who uses DOS software to portray his poetic thoughts. You can check one of his work named Faith on this website http://collection.eliterature.org/1/works/kendall__faith/faith.htm

  2. I just checked out the link that has Kendall's work called "Faith" and the poetry looks really great. I loved how words start falling from the top at the beginning of poem. It gives a feeling of raindrops falling from the sky. The words slowly build up into sentences which build up poem at the end. I think Kendall is trying to explain the meaning of Faith because initially we trust someone and than it gets strong enough to be called as Faith. But if our trust is broken eventually everything falls apart and even in this poem when all words form a complete poem the lines are shattered and break down, along with the word Faith that also comes down.
